Amentum CMS is seeking an experienced Smartsheet Specialist to oversee IT projects from conception through completion and provide high level Smartsheet Solution support. This individual will work closely with cross-functional teams at Amentum CMS and NASA JSC to ensure project objectives, timelines, and budgets are met all the while maintaining a high standard of quality and communication. The individual will be also responsible for developing and overseeing Smartsheet solutions and deployments for external and internal customers .

The Smartsheet Project Specialist will:

Design, demonstrate, and build Smartsheet solutions that fit within new & existing customer business needs. Gain and maintain deep technical knowledge of Smartsheet including premium products

Create templates, dashboards, reports, and automation to support planning and execution

Develop detailed project plans, including timelines, milestones, deliverables, scope, budget, risks

Collaborate with and motivate project teams, assign tasks, delegate responsibilities, and provide regular performance feedback

Facilitate communication between stakeholders, including clients, internal teams, and senior management

Conduct customer workshops and training

Serve as an advisor and SME while promoting best practices and capabilities of the Smartsheet platform

Requisition Qualifications:

Typically requires a bachelor’s degree or equivalent certification in a related area and a minimum of 5 years of experience in the field or in a related area.

Bachelor's degree in business administration or information technology

Business process optimization experience

Experience with Agile project management methodologies and/or software development lifecycle methodologies

Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to effectively present information to diverse audiences

Proven expertise in SmartSheet: building advanced solutions with formulas, automations, and reports

Requisition Preferences:

PMP certification or demonstrated commitment to pursuing PMP (e.g., CAPM, coursework, exam prep) is highly preferred

Agile Certified Practitioner (PMI-ACP)

Smartsheet Certification

Lean or Six Sigma Certification desirable

Demonstrated ability to manage complex projects with multiple stakeholders

Inspires and guides team toward a common goal
